Suspension compatibility: 06 Rubi to 97 SE?

Someone here pointed out that my front suspension is going to need some work in the near future (thanks for the heads up). As luck would have it, there’s a guy on Craigslist selling the stock suspension from his 2006 Rubicon for 150 bucks (the stuff has 20k miles on it). Will this be plug and play on my 97 SE? Seems like a chance to get this stuff at a decent price.

Also, if this is a bad idea for some other reason let me know.

Plug n play, but I’d really consider getting something fresher than 12 yr old springs and shocks, even with only 20K on them.

If you’re die hard wanting them, measure to make sure they haven’t sagged. 12” front and 8” rear. I’d be shocked if they weren’t sagging.

If you’re wanting to stay stock or close, get some 1” H&R springs and some Rancho 5000x shocks for 0-2”
