when i got my 2005 TJ jeep it had Wet Okole seat covers and i hate camo and the centers of the seats were CAMO
so when i rebuilt my lift to stock i took off the front seat covers and one wouldent unclip so STUPIDLY i cut it out with my knife and tossed them into the trash
NOW im paying for my stupidity as i looked them up online and saw how expensive they were and i could have resold them maybe on here
I do have the rear seat still
,
anyways im looking for some new swamp-ass neoprene or similar thick comfortable tight fitting, NO center flop seat covers
I like the looks of the rough country but HATE there logo on the top
as my jeeps got gray interior with black painted door/dash accents , id like to have black and gray seats
I am wanting covers that wont fade, the jeep sits in my garage when not in use and normally drive with the windows out --side and back
sometimes with the top and doors off
I never had a sever case of swamp ass with the above mentioned seat covers
,
looking for the best fitting covers at a reasonable price Mrs-Santa might gift me with for my Birthday on the 26th

thank you for any input on a brand to consider and 200 dollar range

( I missed the sale on the Caltrend sporttex seat covers :( )

Caltrend still has the 50% off sale going on for another 13 hours.

I'm not sure in that price range you're going to find something that fits like factory and isn't neoprene.

I will say also that neoprene is an awful material for seat covers. Not sure who the genius was that thought that one up, but it could have to do with cheaper costs, who knows.

The Bartact seat covers are the gold standard. Worth the money if you ask me.

Ran the Neoprene for many years in. Miata, plus side is Fit nice, run a little warmer in the full sun but not the pronounced level that is being whined about here😂. Let you butts past experience be your guide!

Question though why do you want them? Reason I ask is I have these which address the high wear section and offer a storage pocket. Just throwing out a different low cost idea..

Fire up the Google machine and scour the chineseium markets.

The market for covers on 20 year old vehicles is shrinking by the day.

Most of the ones that fit tight are just universal covers with straps you pull tight. Anything custom fit is not going to be near your price range.

Aliexpress is probably your best bet for your quest, followed by the next chineseium wonder, amazon.

These are neoprene and i can vouch for the nice fit and waterproofing. I spilled a whole coke in my passenger seat while working on the radio and had to run into the house to get a towel and to my surprise nothing seeped into the fabric of the seat. I have also added cheap DIY Amazon bought heated seat set and now i have a warm seats in winter. And i think they fit and look great.

Edit: just noticed you said you hated the RC at the top. Just get out your Black Sharpie lol

👆 This. Caltrend covers fit very nice and look OEM. Many options to choose from, including your swamp ass Neoprene. Most folks on here opt for the SportsTex or the DuraPlus. There's a lengthy thread on here somewhere that has examples and colors of both. I went with the SportsTex and the fit was nearly perfect. I installed the Dorman Seat heaters while I was at it.

The couple of times I tried to "touch up" anything that was solid and black ended up with a spot that reflected some weird reddish/purpleish/Lord knows whatish color. I wonder what happens on black fabric. Hmmm...

Anyway, I don't think those RC seat covers are dark black enough to even try that.

Diver Down are $180 front and rear, with a free console cover. They have a tiny red logo tag on them. I put these in my wife's Jeep, and they fit great. I have one on my rear seat, and the console cover.
