Sway bar link question

Sorry if this is a repeat question. Or a stupid one!

To pass inspection, I need both rear sway bar links replaced. It’s still at factory height, but if I put a lift on it, would that also then replace the sway bar links? I’m just figuring that I want to lift it anyway, why not kill two birds with one stone?

Negative.. I have 4" lift with factory links. They do make extended links, but I don't think they're necessary

Rear sway bar links are cheap, quick, and easy enough to replace that you'd be better off not worrying about anything but passing inspection right now. Grab a pair for ~$40, take the 15mins needed to do the job, and go about your day.

Buy cheap stock replacements, then once you have your lift on look at better links with disconnects if you want. But the stock links will still work in the meantime.
