It's not only one of the prettiest Volvos ever built – it's one of the prettiest cars ever built, period.
Most of us think of Volvos as boxy, safe cars that offer tremendous reliability and comfortat the expense of excitement. Occasionally, though, when they let their hair down, they come out with something jaw-droppingly gorgeous.
The Volvo P1800 is the best example. It's a serious contender for any list of the most beautiful cars ever built. It's subtle fins, Ferrai-esque grille, gentle curves, and overall proportions have endeared it to many.

When I got out of the service, a guy I knew had one and offered to sell it to me at a reasonable price. I turned him down. Didn't really care for the looks.
I hear ya, my first wife was Scandinavian, absolutely beautiful but dumber than a box of hammers.
I dated a Swedish blonde once. I'm trying to remember her name. Man this is frustrating, but that's not what's most important to remember now is it?!
All these babes are at Soccer games. I got that, played through college, now I just need the car, but I'll stick with the TJ. It's not as chic, but it is definitely more interesting.
