I noticed last weekend while trying to clean up and organize the garage I have a box with all the stock parts I removed to do my SYE years ago. It has the output shaft, rear TC housing, stock rear drive shaft. Is there any real reason to hang on to this stuff? Should I toss it? What has everyone else done with this stuff?

I was given a 2.4 frame...and surprise, it came with an AX-5 and a 231J. I also have my leftover SYE parts...so I think I can throw them at the 231 and do a spline conversion.

The transfer case tail housing is exactly the right size to drive in a transmission pump seal & also to coerce the pump into the bore in the event it doesn't just slip in.

But I also have my old output shaft on the garage floor too for no good reason other than that I have a hard time purging things that are otherwise fine. Which is completely independent of my trouble with throwing away things that are expired or outright broken.
