Putting a slip yoke eliminator (SYE), DC shaft, Savvy upper arms and JKS trackbar into the JEEP as soon as all of the parts arrive.

The JEEP has 142,000 miles, its a 4-cylinder and had stock tires on it until about 500 miles ago. Pretty sure the 4WD was never really used.

Is there anything else I should do while the case is open? Or things I should inspect?
  1. Chain
  2. Bearings
  3. Oil pump
  4. ?

Stick a new clutch in. Bearings, pivot, springs.
Drop the fuel tank and do a super good cleanup of the frame, torque tubes, ...
Replace any leaky gaskets.

I know you meant internal transfer stuff, but now is the best time for all the underside to get a once over.

I would personally put a 2-LO kit in. Sometimes it's handy to have that low gearing without locking the differential in
