I’m so excited to get this thing installed. It’s been sitting in my garage since before Christmas. I’ll post up some pictures tomorrow throughout the build. Can’t wait to have 1:1, 2.72:1, 3.8:1,and 10.34:1 ratios instead of just the 1:1 and 4:1 I currently have. 1:1 was never enough and 4:1 was sometimes too low for certain trails. I doubt I’ll use the 10.34:1 but it’s there. And the 2 wheel low will be awesome as well as the front dig capability.

This seems a bit excessive. Not sure I put it all in correctly. Ax-15, Atlas 4speed 3.8:1 / 2.72:1, 513:1 axle gearing

No you have something input wrong. I don't know how to do a screen shot. But here is a copied chart. I guessed at 35" tires.

he following chart lists the final drive ratio of all combined gears (transmission, transfer case, underdrive, axle) in all possible combinations

That looks better I’m on 37” tires

I have a STaK 3 speed box with a 5.44 low low and I can tell you that you are going to LOVE it for technical stuff.
That low slow is great for some stuff. And doing front digs is just icing on the cake.

Awesome, I'd be excited too!

You're going to have a hell of a fun time fitting that thing under there ;)

203.08 if you want to crunch numbers. A lot better than mine but I am running an auto tranny.

I got some help lined up and a trans jack. So I’m hoping it goes ea

that is exactly what I came up with.

The transmission jack is the key. And have some short boards and ratchet straps to help get the angle you need.

My winter project next year will be an Auto.

Can I ask why? I really miss being able to row thru the gears but I had to go to an automatic due to an injury to my right leg. And don't get me wrong an auto is better for SOME types of wheeling. But I miss the never touching my clutch even when stopping. And starting the engine without touching the clutch.

5 back surgeries so far and my left leg is numb from the knee down. It still works most days for now.

Got it. Mine was a reduced use of my right leg and a almost locked ankle.

Lucky this jack has a built in tilting head.

Mine does also but there were times I couldn't get it to the angle I needed. And I did it both with just the transfer case and then with transfer case mounted to the transmission.

Have fun and don't drop it on your foot. ;)

Not as strait forward as I had hoped. It is bolted in. Had to do quite a bit of clearancing at the rear to get it up high enough. And where AA tells you to mount the 4 speed shifter does not work because it hits the tcase before it is up high enough. I guess if I had a 2” body lift I would have no issues but who would want that crap. So tomorrow I will figure out where to now mount the hi low shifter. And then modify the skid plat just a touch. Then I can measure for driveshafts. I think the front will be ok. But the rear is going to have to be shortened about 2.5” - 3”. I’ll know for sure tomorrow.

Great news, glad you got it in and I'll bet you are glad that it's in. Stuff never seems to work out the way you think it is going to.
