Been searching Ebay without luck, found plenty of internal handle to latch but no external to latch. Looks like it's 1/16 inch rod fabrication time....
He had to look longer than you did .....
The only parts I see in that post are the ones from the internal door handle to the latch. Again, I'm looking for the rod to the external handle to the latch.
scavenger hunt is more fun than working, one last try, Mid left of pic threaded rod??

That one DOES include the piece I was looking for. However,due to my impatience, I have fabricated one from some 1/16" stock and seems to be working fine. Thank you for your time in searching....
Cold weather has a motivating factor for things like getting a door on the Jeep. Literally took 5 minutes to measure, cut and bend in a vice to needed shape.
If its just broken, maybe JB Weld? Maybe now you can experiment since you have your solution.

Might be a different year of half door, but the cards on the half doors I picked up last summer only have the push-plug at the leading edge of the door. I believe it's the only thing holding the door card on the door in that area, if memory serves. Despite my best attempt to remove them in one piece, neither survived disassembly. I've seen a few used on Ebay, but they looked a bit gnarly (and not inexpensive for what they are).

Tried lookin up door panel cap , retainer, plug
No luck. Already have the inner panel new retainers
Need 2 new ones as 2 were broken on the half doors I picked up
Id imagine these gotta be common enough to be local pickup??
They go in the very top hole Im right by, and the other one towards front end. I have a box of these but none are this size

Yep. Part of what makes them so hard to get out without wrecking them or cracking the door panel

@MountaineerTom Can you tell me where you sourced the ones you used? I have to pull the panels again over the winter and would like some backups. My interior is Agate, so not a perfect match to the grey you have, but I like the texture on them and can paint them.
