Possibly but I’d still be in the Amex camp.I’d bet you could impact off the bolt (any way it comes free) to recover the rubber mount, no?

I don’t blame you, I ordered my set back in April...Possibly but I’d still be in the Amex camp.
I only know in the 10 times or so I've been to salvage yards within 50 miles of me that the only TJ's in them were but the barest of stripped hulks. All 4 of them.I’m guessing yours are like ours, TJs don’t last a few days until they’re stripped to the bone. However maybe this is the one part people aren’t jumping after?
The only sure bet for Jeep parts is the Jeep Parts Depot up in Sun Valley and you can find most of his stuff for less if you pay retail for used.I have no idea. I gave up years ago calling around for parts. I've had better luck on ebay.
And the difference between OEM and changing out for the rear body mount and hex cap bolt cannot be understated.

After having just completed this mod, the one thing I will tell people is to PAY ATTENTION before burning your stuff in. I didn't realize in the heat of the moment that by using the rear upper body mounts you can gain another 1/4". That doesn't sound like much, but it is huge in my opinion. @mrblaine is genius on this stuff (don't let it go to his head ).

If you use the rear upper then won't the new mount have a 1/4" gap between it and the top of the frame?
Add a 1/4" shim or a mid arm bracket.

Ya'll and you're lack of accuracy on important shit is maddening.
Rear upper what?
What new mount and how do you get a frame gap?

Starting off on the right foot today, are we?!

I have the Genright mounts, and I opened up the ID of some new rear lower mounts (for use on the side mounts per this thread) on a lathe so that I could use them with the side upper mounts, but the Savvy mid-arm kit is in its 20th week of backorder for me. I've been holding off on doing the body mount lift until all parts are in hand suspecting that I could encounter issues, but lately I've been considering doing the body mount lift now, just to get it done.Add a ... mid arm bracket.

I've never seen the mid-arm kit installed. Do the Savvy mid arm brackets occupy the same space as the Genright body mounts?
