The Travels of an 03 Rubicon

Switched the overhead lights and footwell lights to led. So far I like the $20 I spent on this.

I wish my jeep was that clean...
I didnt drive it this winter much at all and before anything is put up for storage, I clean it. I never let it get bad and clean frequently during camping season also.

Now, our xterra is a different story, it still needs its end of winter season deep clean. Snow season really messes up carpets and mats.

I’ve never seen anything like these before. How do they work exactly?

There is a hollow ring around the circumference of the mounting plate. Inside that ring is a type of media similar to beads or sand, and when the tire rotates that media can move around the hollow ring and balances any off weight spots on the tire due to rubber, mud, snow, or a lost weight.

It made a noticeable improvement on my MT tires no one could get balanced near me.

Nice. I've had my set of CMs for a few years. They seem to do a good job of compensating for mud globs and lost wheel weights.
