The unfortunate JKU & JLU of the day thread

Did they take the extra two doors off and throw them away?

They were all on. Owner admitted he cheated out on the steering and is now suffering for it.

The guy just happened to drive by us and saw some Jeeps.

About a minute later he comes back and pulls up to us.

I’m thinking he saw some Jeeps and thought to himself “There’s a few Jeeps over there. SOMEBODY will have some tools”

Do not look to me for tools. I travel light.

Drivers in Minnesota are horrible at all aspects of driving including common sense, courtesy and skill.

Sounds a lot like the People's Republic of Maryland...the possible difference being that I think it's actually taught here...I mean, these people can't figure out single lane turning circles, FFS... :ROFLMAO:

I just live here, I'm not indigenous. ;)

I've found myself laying on the horn behind people who don't know how to use a roundabout all to frequently. I'm not from MN either.

Like my retired HS teacher said: They test you for driving at 16 and don't do it again until you're 80, it's an awful long time to develop bad habits.

.gov could spend a little more time on continuing ed for drivers. Use of roundabouts for one or "why did this semi leave this gap, i'll cram my car in here" bullshit.

That's standard motor vehicle operations here. If you leave (almost) enough space for a compact car, they'll go for it (regardless of what they're driving) and let you sort the situation out.

When I moved here 11 years ago, I swore all vehicles sold in the state came without indicators and mirrors (cuz nobody feckin' uses them!). If it isn't in their forward field of view, it's not their problem....I call it "the blinder effect".

And if the vehicle is sporting DC plates, forget about it. Even worse drivers and they behave like they own the place... :cautious:

Ah... turn signals, yet another rant I'll avoid!
