I local JKUR owner here that I know, saw my TJ at the post office one day and.... Yep I got Ducked!
I just happened to see her climbing back into her Jeep after putting a litte purple rubber duck on my driver's side mirror as I walked out of the post office.
The next time I saw her, I told her about a meme I saw discussing what different color ducks stand for (of course I can't find that meme any more). At any rate she turned about 3 shades of red and said "Oh my goodness, I had no idea"... (she studdered a couple times) than said "I, I, I,.. that was NOT what I intended" in an extremely rattled voice. I explained to her it was only a joke, but she hasn't ducked my Jeep since.
The meme explained the colors and it was something like this...
green = wanna watch, red = partner swap, blue = anything goes, purple = 3 some, and the last one was,
yellow = a Jeep thing and 100% safe, so have fun with that!"
I know this ain't a JK but since I hear Ford being mentioned and this monstrosity is right down the road......

It is a popular thing here. No idea why. Nothing about it makes sense. Not a performance mod by any stretch. Doesn't look good. Trashes the rubber. The cars can't possibly handle well.
So, as I often find myself asking... Why?
The people who do that are a whole 'nother level of special. Never seen that in my area but when I went to Toronto I counted 3 or 4.

The Indians love it. Honestly, a jeeps ride isn't particularly amazing, its still a brick, and it doesnt have a ton of power (unless you got a 392). The one thing it has over almost every other vehicle on the road, is it's offroad capabilities. So why the heck would you take away the one thing its quite good at by putting rubber bands on it????
I honestly have no idea what it was. I just meant since we were including non-JKs and I just happened to see it that day.
