The SSR was an answer to a question nobody ever asked.

How about the Prowler? :cool:

The Prowler and the SSR were both bad ideas that had an initially high amount of interest.

As soon as the Gotta Get It Firsts bought theirs, nobody else wanted one.

The Gladiator was in that situation for a bit as I remember seeing $10k+ off the MSRP for a while.

I remember a quote from a Lincoln representative about the Blackwood pickup...

"We wanted it to be exclusive, but it turned out to much more exclusive than we intended."

The new Jeep Grand Wagoneer is most likely going to see the same results. The 6 figure prices suggest it's on par with Mercedes G Wagons... I don't see Fiat backing their product like Mercedes does...


Edit: THinking about it... they do need to figure out how to pay for all the R&D they spent on these new turbo powered I6 engines...
