Aluminum housing is out of a Grand Cherokee. It's not as strong as the TJ d44s. Dude is either ignorant or lying.

Lol - not defending some of the choices this owner has made - but, the headlight guards actually do work. I had some for awhile on my old XJ that saw a lot of dirt and rocky roads in South Texas. This was back when one of the only options was glass sealed beams for these, and they deflected several attacks. Even when I smashed the front end in on a guard rail, it held most of the glass in the housing so there was minimal cleanup.
I'd drive that ugly little fucker.

So...tiny door for small people then? Maybe just me but I feel like if I was going to the trouble of fabricating, I'd have made it a usable size...but then again I'm 6' 5" and north of 225, depending on the day...
