so today I took on the task of cleaning my throttle body. As usual I have to take it to the next level. I pulled the butterfly valve and set screw that hold the plate open just enough for idle. Now I have no clue what the gap needs to be between the butterfly valve and the throttle body. I cannot find the specs and I've searched every thing I can think of. Have any of you done this?

The plate valve itself does not admit air at idle rpms, it should be completely closed whenever you're not stepping on the gas pedal. The IAC (idle air control) valve on the side of the throttle body is what provides all of the engine air at idle rpms.
