Tire indecisiveness has got me all out of whack

Due to my recent waste of $ and honest/unaware shops, I'm trying to figure out a plan.
2 of my 32" STT's are cupped bad due to previous owners suspension, rotating, and steering neglect. All is fixed, tires rotated to back on different new rims. As I thought things would be good, the one older wheel I thought was the vibration culprit, was actually the tire belt separating inside. Not even 22oz of weight could balance it. So,. Bought that new set of wheels for no reason(although I definitely like them better), have a set of 10 yrs old STT's on my jeep with 60% tread, and just simply want a reassuring ride....road, hwy, trails, sand. These Rubicon extremes look amazing with MT tires, so my concern is, looks, longevity, and noise.
Options:
Find 2 used STT's in my 32" size which will be difficult.
Buy 4 32" STT's OR 33" STT's and run MT's and just deal with what comes along with MT's.
Buy aggressive 33x12.5 A/T's excluding duratrac, KO2's, and KM3's.
Would prefer.....
Wild peaks, grabber atx, cooper at3's, MasterCraft coursers on the list. These are 15x8's. If I had the 16's, I'd opt for Baja Boss A/T's 33".

Will any of these AT's make the jeep the same appeal as the STT's do with the Rubicon extremes? Just curious on opinions. This is a big cost for me, so trying to make sure I get it right.
So ifNyone has pics/experience of these wheels and any of the named AT's, that'd be helpful. Maybe brand new "quieter" MT's wouldn't be so bad?

Sorry for the pettiness as this subject is approached 1000's of times on the forum. I've saved dozens of pics. I read and read and read but you never know how new someone else's steering components, suspension, and anything else right comfort related has.
Current stance. 2" BL 4.0" backspacing.

BFG KO2's or Goodyear Duratracs. Great for the use you are describing. M/Ts are great if the Jeep spends most of it's time off road, but they suck in the rain on the street. M/Ts also will not last as long.

i love my ko2's ... not sure why they are a no for you?

Price...230-245. as long as they're C rated in 33x12.5x15 and I can possibly find a site with rebate or discount to get down to 245ish, I might consider. Are wildpeaks not even a close 2nd?

When the sidewall turns into tread, it dips in giving the tire a thinner look. I guess I'm used to the STT's that just look wider. Wildpeaks don't have that same "dip/curve" I ward as the KO2's. Ya I give things too much thought 😂

Falken Wildpeaks are a good tire... that said, I prefer BFGs and run the KM3'S on both my Jeeps. KM3'S are quiet by MT standards, and last a long time by MT standards, too, which is why I run them.

If I wanted an AT, I'd either go with the BFG KO2'S or the Falken Wildpeak AT3s, depending on what was on a better sale that week (with a slight bias towards BFG that I will admit is entirely based on my experience with their MTs). Both are good tires.

Love your new wheels. (y) The Cooper STT Pro or MasterCraft Courser MXT will be my next tires (less expensive). I never buy anything but MT tires. I'm not a fan of the AT look. I have 25,000 miles on my Mickey Thompson MTZ P3's and they're wearing great.

Gracias. Ya doing a lot of reading and hear nothing but great things about Patagonia Milestars MTZ. Very Quiet on road, performs well off road and snow, and lasts 40k+miles, AND good price. I'll keep researching

Don't be worried about running MTs on the pavement, that's all I have run since probably 2000. Not all are noisy or have a problem with fast wear, none of my MTs wore fast or had a noise issue. Yeah mud boggers and any similar especially aggressive tread patterns will be awful on the road but my BFG and Goodyear MTs were all pretty darned good highway tires.

And I must say, the MasterCraft courser MXT is a great deal with plenty of positive threads of reviews

Exactly what's going on in my head! I want to be able to pickup and drive 65 from East coast NC to the mountains without a thought. These MXT's are more appealing. 33x12.5x15 on Amazon for $220

@Scottfree98 I know it's expensive purchase, but I'm just here to confirm you're over-thinking it. Get the tire you want most and enjoy it. I've never run anything on my rig but MT's. I won't change to AT's. I just think they look anemic. Looks and performance offroad are the most important things for me. You may have other more important things. Decide accordingly.

I usually buy my tires through Costco- they can order in the BFG Or Bridgestone option if there something there you want- the trick is to bring in the wheels off the Jeep. This way you can skirt the insurance driven size/fitment issue. They go on sales rotations and I just had 33’s mounted up. $1400 ish for all 5 on the AT 10.5 wide. Love the look/aggressiveness of the MT but no bueno for winter ice driving up here without studding.

you all put things into perspective. Decided on the Mastercraft MXT 33x12.5x15. Can't go wrong with US Cooper built, C load rating, 6ply, and a near exact 33" tire. Now I'll just go nuts with white letters out or in:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.. After this, I'll finally be able to enjoy the jeep!!

You just need to decide what is more important: Wheeling or street driving. If wheeling, then go with an MT. Otherwise, the Cooper STT Pro sounds like a good fit. It's not a real MT, it's a hybrid tire. I ran those for a few years and they gripped well on the rocks and handled well on the street too.

careful on packed snow or ice with an MT. They are bad news.

I first loved my Duratracs, then last weekend went on a simple trail, nothing crazy, and cut the sidewall on one of em. Dont know how it happened, but luckily had a warranty and only cost me $61 for a replacement. Next set will be BFG KOs.
