TJ died while driving down the highway

My 2005 Jeep Wrangler X with the 4.0 died going down the interstate and wouldn’t start back. At first I thought it was the fuel pump but I think I have it eliminated.... I can get it started after continuously pressing the accelerator... but it will not idle and has not power.... I replaced the plugs and the coil pack bar... still wouldn’t run.... unplugged the camshaft position sensor and was able to get it started after continuously pressing the accelerator like before but it will idle and has power, drove it up the road and it sputtered.... so I thought the camshaft sensor was bad but after replacing still wouldn’t start unless that sensor is unplugged. Any ideas with what I’m dealing with?

#1 You MUST verify your fuel pressure reading....assuming is not good enough.
If the pump checks out OK...

Sudden failures on the road can also be crankshaft sensor, possibly throttle position sensor.

Having to constantly pump the gas pedal would indicate (to me) there is a fuel related problem, likely the fuel pressure. Should be around 55 psi if I remember correctly.
