TJ Fender Flare Suggestions

Thanks. That was my first TJ and I never should have sold it.
I agree. That was a keeper. I'll try to remember you advice when I'm tempted to sell mine.

Now you're on 19?

Technically 19 since I bought the current one twice. :)

I once sold a '53 Ford F-100 in a fit of anger. About 6 months later, I saw my truck on the side of the road for sale again. I'd gotten over being pissed at the truck by then, so decided to stop and inquire about it.
Sometime in the 6 months, somebody had run the thing into a brick wall and bent the frame in 5 places. Then, they tore the frame almost in 1/2 trying to pull it straight.
With a tear in my eye, I climbed back into my car and went on my way without the truck.

Damn, that sucks. I sold my Rubicon initially to pay off some debt. I then bought a clean stock 99' XJ with 120,000 miles for $3,000. I lifted it, put 33s on and did all the neglected maintenance. Two years later, I emailed the owner and just asked him if he ever sold it, to let me know first. He asked if I wanted it back because it was just sitting in his garage and he only drove it 1,200 miles. I told him yes! I sold my XJ within a week for $7,500 and bought my Rubicon back for $9,000 cash. I sold it to him for $14,000. He said that I built it and deserved it back. I'm keeping it this time. :)
p.s. I tried to buy the XJ back, but he wanted $9,000 for it.

Damn, I like a lifted XJ. My wife owned her XJ's back in the day before people started lifting them. They were just cheapo 4x4s back then.
My kid has a fairly nice MJ that he's added, I think a 2" lift and he's running the 30x9.50's and Canyon rims I took off my TJ when I got the Torq Thrusts and Yokohamas.
