You won't be disappointed. The one we rented last year was really nice. There is also plenty of room around the complex to leave the truck/trailer for those of us who will be towing.
Same here, we’ll share a condo with a buddy of mine that has a YJ.
My birthday week. Likely in (around 90%) but if I go I’m doing the entire white rim road. Likely get a condo when not on the trail like last year if anyone would be interested in splitting.

I’ll have to take a look at getting permits for white rim, likely be a three day more overland trip, but the one day we did was beautiful @ac_ can back me up.

I would do that. Otherwise I will camp, so no big deal if you decide to bail out.
I am purchasing 33’s soon and if I need to will add a bl.
Installed a new timing chain today, and put a hole in my AC condenser when my ratchet flew off a timing chain cover bolt. 1 step sideways, 2 steps backwards.
New radiator and water pump arriving tomorrow.
I’ll do some looking into the permits tomorrow. I feel they might be book them 6 months out as that’s how the NPS normally works but not sure. I probably won’t book anything until sept/oct so I’ll let you know

How early can I reserve a permit?
You can make a reservation no more than four months, and no less than two days, before the permit start date. For very popular sites, you may have to make a reservation at midnight mountain time, exactly four months before the start date.
If you are reserving four months before your start date, you may have to reserve each night separately. When making a reservation, please write the total number of nights you plan to use in the comments section. This way we can link your nightly reservations and only charge one permit fee.
