TJ Fest 2021 - Moab (April 24 – May 1, 2021)

My experience is that Gaia has some decent GPXs, but the ones you’ll get in TrailsOffRoad are far superior. They include waypoints and are very detailed.

I used the maps from both trails off-road.com and redrockfourwheelers website as my additional Gaia maps.

I got the GPX maps for Moab from @Alex01 who has been there before (I haven't) so I trusted him.

I'm not sure where he got the GPX, but I would assume https://www.trailsoffroad.com

I haven't even bothered with the layers yet.

There's so many GPX sites out there. I guess you just have to pick one and roll with it

I made it back with the low fuel light on. I had 5 gallons just incase.

Yeah, it’s a long trip. There was a little store out there, off the main road about 1 mile. We stopped by, high gas prices

I considered heading south for gas but it was easier to take the Jerry can.

Do the power boat ride. We watched them practicing doing 360's when we were there.vit was badass!

I really enjoyed the half day raft trip last year. We did it in July though. The water was nice and warm so we did a lot of swimming alongside the raft.

Hopefully since you are earlier you’ll get more whitewater.
