I came up with 50-60 gallons round trip for Team CoCo, not including play time in Moab.

That's pretty much where I was at, just about 62gal (12mpg average estimate) - I don't actually know my fuel economy. Even if I did before the regear changes it (hopefully marginally for the better).

Last second things for Moab for me:

- Spare delete (LOL) (done)
- Savvy Tailgate Armor (not done yet, but close)
- Savvy GTS (not done yet)
- 4:1 TeraLow (done)
- Engine Cleaning and going over (done, will do again)
- New Clutch (done)
- New Fluids (done)
- Pack all the tools (I've been working out of the back of the Jeep for 5 months so I learn what I really need).

For those traveling from So. California going up the 15, cheapest fuel/gasoline: Indian reservation north of Vegas, ( good pump lay out) St. George isn't to bad, Cedar City, Maverick north of town, great pumps for RV's and trailers.
I make this run several times a year, either towing a 30' trailer or the car carrier with the jeep so have to be somewhat selective.

People have emailed me and asked about COVID rules.

There are no COVID rules for this trip. If you want to wear a mask, wear one. If you don't want to wear one, don't.

We're all grown adults and we can all assess our own risk. We don't need anyone making up rules as it pertains to COVID. That's 100% on you, because again, you're an adult.

Remember, follow the sCieNcE!

My wife and I will be fully vaccinated by then but will social distance and or wear masks as required.
I've been vaccinated for quite a long time and still do all that stuff. mainly cause I work for the state and they require it in my office.. and LEO duties make wearing a nice thing when going into some houses........

We can do that. The three of us are leaving from the Denver area after work and staying Friday night in Green River, UT. It's about 5-6 hours.

From there, we will set morning meeting times near the trailheads for Sat, Sun, Monday for anyone else that wants to join us. This schedule is likely to change, but Saturday is pretty well settled.

Cool. Moab isn’t a big town so I plan to book a place soon, like next week soon 😂

Any fly anglers in the group that want to take a day or two to fish bring your kit. I know some fun honey holes there!
Glad to hear now I’ve got to bring fishing stuff I’m running out of room lol. I’ll be ready to go if your fishing.

Not what I imagined, kinda like a kids toy, will this work?

Don't know if I ordered the wrong one or they sent something different

Aside from the red color that is what my 5RE looks like. Much smaller than I had anticipated but it seems to work fairly well. I was able to hop on a repeater and heard a conversation from a guy who claimed he was in Rhode Island NY.

Prep for the TJ Fest includes running some easy trails to check out BlackSheep. I’m in Utah from last week through TJFest, including EJS.

if anyone else is out here, shout out. I’m game for running any trails up to the RR4W rating of about 7. Easier is great for this week and early next week as the scenery is amazing anyway.
