TJ mid-arm muffler placement

I'm not so sure that just a straight pipe isn't quieter than those noisy ass things. At least a straight pipe doesn't sound as bad. But no, I have yet to find anything tolerable even doubling them up.

Is there a particular muffler you use for LJ midarm installs?

Here I my final exhaust setup, I ended up getting the muffler I posted in post #3. I am very happy with the result. Under about 2.7k rpms the sound is maybe slightly louder, if not the same as stock. Anything over that has some noice, but a very tolerable amount.
