Yeah that hurt me watching the forerunner.
I enjoyed the video (Sort of-I don’t like to abuse stuff like that). However, very cool to see someone doing that trail with the right tool. Although the stretched LJ seemed to work pretty well, the girl‘s buggy was the only thing that really made sense to me in that environment. The other rigs just seemed stressful but the buggy looked fun.

I still can't stand that channel, but that segment was entertaining. I wouldn't want that much weight on top!

So which one of you is this? @14:40

I didn't see anything except a hot blonde chick in to Jeeps. What were you talking about? 🤣

They did get annoying pretty fast though. Looked at some other vids on their channel and they seem like they are always a bit over the top and acting for YouTube. I dunno, glad they are putting content out, just isn't for me.

The parts of their videos that I've seen were only parts because they do seem annoying.

The jet ski Jeep guys probably told her about the 700-800lbs being up there to impress her.
Considering those little jet skis might have weighed 700 lbs each to begin with, I call that an exaggeration. The engine and running gear (or whatever the pump and other stuff is called) of a jet ski is probably 75% of the total weight. They are barely tied down so I think what they had on that Jeep was a couple of hollowed out shells with a total weight maybe similar to putting me (245 lbs) up there.

Hopefully the chances of someone finding both of those laying next to a trail somewhere near there has gone down since they're on video.

Not at all. A 650sx is under 300lbs, a 750sx is just over 300lbs. Depending on fuel amount, they could be right there at 700lbs.

That being said, I still wouldn't want to ride a trail with a pair of them on the roof.

Hmm... I just had my stand-ups rebuilt and I'm working on my CJ 7 build currently..... and I don't really like dragging them...:unsure:I'm going to percolate on this for a day or two and take a look at the McMaster-Carr catalog and see what I can find....
