Driving on and off throughout the day stopping at places no problems park at home go to put the jeep in the garage Kranks dies transmission of feels loose as well as it’s not turning over no crank no start any ideas?

The very first place to always check is your battery. Start with the terminals and see what kind of condition their in. Have the battery load tested and see if it’s still good. Despite what you might think, you absolutely need to have it load tested to make sure that it’s still good. You can also check the date on your battery to see when was manufactured. If it’s older than a few years, you can almost be certain that it’s bad.

You said transmission (shifter?) feels loose. If it's an automatic the shifter may not actually in Start or Neutral so the NSS (neutral safety switch) would allow the engine to start. If it is an automatic, try turning the ignition switch to Start and holding it there while you move the shifter up-down to try to engage the NSS switch.

Actuator?

Do you have power when you turn the key to the “on” position?

just to follow up on @Chris comment.

Before you go too far, if the battery is new, is the ground (negative) done correctly? Tight and snug etc?

What does it do exactly when you turn the key? Sounds like you get power, as in the radio and internal lights come on.

Then you turn and get zero? Like no click, no flicker of lights nothing? As in it looks like you’re not turning the key?

It’s a stick, can you push start it?
