Ran into Home Depot this morning to grab some pool salt. I grabbed a few bags and threw them in a cart and for some reason in lieu of just running out as fast as I can I decided to take a look at the rest of their pool stuff so I would know what they had available the future. This particular home depot is in a part of town that is on the rougher side and I wouldn't imagine most patrons are into Jeeps or wheeling. But a middle aged black gentlemen who was in grabbing a rake or something from the aisle end behind me asks me about the BFH garage shirt I am wearing and asks if that is the same BFH garage that is on YouTube. Usually I would have been like "what?" because I wouldn't know what I was wearing. But my wife just said to me right before I left that she never saw me wear this shirt before and I told her it is because I forgot I had it and just found it this morning and threw it on. So....since I knew what the gentleman was referring I was able to respond and we talked for a minute or so about Mike's YouTube channel and i told him that he probably saw me in a few videos, etc ..... He himself was not into wheeling but his grandson had a jeep and they found one of Mike's videos when searching for a fix on the grandsons jeep and he kept watching after that one video.

What is the coincidence that I would wear my BFH Garage shirt for the first time today and then what is the odds that I would run into someone in Memphis that would have watched that channel and recognize the shirt? Crazy!

Anyway, I was going to just send a note to hosejockey to tell him the story and how he was famous in Raleigh (area of Memphis) but I thought it was worth sharing with everyone.

I was the star of Mike's 2025 Moab video and I didn't get a shirt

Something like 80 caught in flash floods in Grand Canyon too. Between earthquakes, volcanos, floods and fires it’s starting to feel
pretty apocalyptic

It’s wild how the Napal-Tibet border floods make our local terrifying events seem like a water park. Very humbling watching the water erase entire canyon settlements in seconds…and apparently transporting bodies 150 miles away to India. Very sad stuff.

When I first saw that I thought it was AI

If you haven’t experienced one our thunderstorms or flash floods they are hard to fathom. They come in fast drop an inch or two of rain in a few minutes with outflow winds reaching 90-100 mph. It’s pretty intense and then it’s over.
Intense is when rainfall is measured in feet. During Hurricane Harvey, one Houston-area community saw 5 FEET of rain when it rained for four days straight. That blew my mind.
