Ran into Home Depot this morning to grab some pool salt. I grabbed a few bags and threw them in a cart and for some reason in lieu of just running out as fast as I can I decided to take a look at the rest of their pool stuff so I would know what they had available the future. This particular home depot is in a part of town that is on the rougher side and I wouldn't imagine most patrons are into Jeeps or wheeling. But a middle aged black gentlemen who was in grabbing a rake or something from the aisle end behind me asks me about the BFH garage shirt I am wearing and asks if that is the same BFH garage that is on YouTube. Usually I would have been like "what?" because I wouldn't know what I was wearing. But my wife just said to me right before I left that she never saw me wear this shirt before and I told her it is because I forgot I had it and just found it this morning and threw it on. So....since I knew what the gentleman was referring I was able to respond and we talked for a minute or so about Mike's YouTube channel and i told him that he probably saw me in a few videos, etc ..... He himself was not into wheeling but his grandson had a jeep and they found one of Mike's videos when searching for a fix on the grandsons jeep and he kept watching after that one video.
What is the coincidence that I would wear my BFH Garage shirt for the first time today and then what is the odds that I would run into someone in Memphis that would have watched that channel and recognize the shirt? Crazy!
Anyway, I was going to just send a note to hosejockey to tell him the story and how he was famous in Raleigh (area of Memphis) but I thought it was worth sharing with everyone.
I was the star of Mike's 2025 Moab video and I didn't get a shirt
