I’ll have to check the place out! Did everyone drive or trailer to the place?
Everybody but @tnjeepguy drove, he trailered his Jeep. It's a good place, trails can be anything from mild to wild.
All right... back to the pictures. My Jeep at Gem Pt. look out on the Idaho / Montana boarder on Fathers Day weekend (6/15/24)
Near Wheeler Lake, on Monday. The trail was snowed in just past this point.

I'll play. Not the funest trail I have been on but likely one of the best looking trails. East of Ouray, Co.
Got any photos of your rig at New River Gorge by chance? Went white water rafting down there 30 years back and it was amazing and amazingly beautiful but havent been back since . I'm in Southern Indiana and been doing alot of research lately and wanting to do a four or five day trip over there to camp and explore more of the park and scenery. No rafting this time but my past experience from a rafting perspective will only make this trip that much richer

The top of miners ridge. About 18 air miles east of Mt Rainier summit, fairly deep into the wilderness (surrounded on all sides basically). This was from, oh I think 2016. Then I returned last year to take dad up there for a visit and a couple nights of camping in the Gladiator. The mining history of this area is pretty amazing.

Not to derail, but you really ought to post in the wheeling trip pictures section! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the place and see any more pics you got there. I’ve been eyeing Merus for a while but have seen very few trail pics.
When's the next trip there? We can run the trail, and then grill out at my house... I'm not too far from there.
My favorite thing about wheeling in my area, is seeing other trails in the distance and finding ways to get to them.
Was going to try for Saturday, if I can get my thermostat in by then.
Still up in the air right now. I'll let you know.
