When's the next trip there? We can run the trail, and then grill out at my house... I'm not too far from there.
Elephant Hill, Canyonlands National Park.

I'm envious of all you jokers. Pretty tough to find hills in S. Florida.
Head over to @Zorba ‘s place
Here are a few from my phone. I never remember to take pictures. I need to look through the wife’s phone.

That is just another Florida swamp. I'm envious because we don't have mountains. Seems like we always want what we don't have. Get mountains, get snow.
Been there, done that, not doing it again. I traded a snow shovel for sunshine a while back.
See guys - this proves its possible to take nice pix even with a PHOOOOOONNE!! Not a single vertical one in sight.
I agree! As someone who had professional photographer training, composition of a photo as portrait orientation when it should be landscape drives me nuts!
About the only climate that agrees with me is central California coastal fog. Now I'm in Florida, and basically stay inside 6 months of the year! But I don't do snow...
I sometimes, not very often, dislike sweating like a fat man.
I really need to get out there.
Got any photos of your rig at New River Gorge by chance? Went white water rafting down there 30 years back and it was amazing and amazingly beautiful but havent been back since . I'm in Southern Indiana and been doing alot of research lately and wanting to do a four or five day trip over there to camp and explore more of the park and scenery. No rafting this time but my past experience from a rafting perspective will only make this trip that much richer
