Toyota lights on your TJ! Cheap, quality LED alternative

I have had one of these kits in my 2005 for awhile now. Love them. However, the bulbs that came aren't that bright. I replaced them with the Hella 80/100 and, while I did like the headlights, there were a lot of shadows within the headlights and they were still fairly yellow. I have since replace the Hella bulbs with the LED bulbs below and am very happy with them so far. They are very bright and much clearer than the Hella bulbs. They were a plug and play and haven't had any issues with them. Time will tell how long they last but so far, I really like them.

Apparently Amazon isn't selling them now.

This is what I purchased on Amazon. May find them cheaper elsewhere.

I like adding quad beam relays, kc hilites used to carry them but not popular with led lights, but it is a really good option for increasing your lighting output

I just did the upgrade. Very easy and lathe lamps look great!

Any scatter or folks flashing you on low beam?

Do you get flashed?

Never. I have them adjusted to where they need to be. They are bright but have a pretty nice beam cut off. When on high beams, they seem to aim upwards a little more than the Hellas but fully usable and they shine the light very far down the road. I have LED fog lights in the bumper and some LED pod type lights on the front bumper and with all three on, it's an amazing amount of light.

After almost smoking a cow the other night on an unlit back road, I finally decided to order a set. $30 to get them into the dealership up here in Edmonton. Probably order a backup set if I like them.

I see different BEAMTECH H4s -

A 12000 Lumen version (Amz link)

A 8000 Lm Version (Link)

Also these 20K lumen I now see: LINK

What Beamtech flavor are people using? These will go in CB housings, most likely, but I also have the Toyota upgrade w/harness -60P70.

Cheers. ;)

I think that most of us , (besides Boogieman), are still using Halogens. Those Beamtechs are all 6500 Kelvin color lights, that white with a blue tint to them. You might not like the result, personally I can't see with those lights. And despite their claims, few LEDs actually work in an H4 housing.
