Track bar bushings or new track bar?

Yesterday I had posted a question about things to address while we have our fuel tank out and the track bar bushings came up. Anyhow, I have 3 options, replace the bushings, replace the track bar that has new bushings or replace the bar with a beefier adjustable track bar. My question is, what's the benefit of an adjustable track bar and why would you need or want one?

You want an adjustable track bar once you start lifting the Jeep. When you lift the Jeep, the axle moves laterally. An adjustable track bar allows you to square it back up again. With a stock height Jeep, an oem replacement is perfectly fine.

I dont care for the multi-piece bushings in anything so i would go with a whole new trackbar. I just put a moog one in mine, seems good.

Adjustable lets you center the axle side to side at new ride height for a lift kit

So if I plan on lifting the jeep in the future, an adjustable track bar may be a smarter option today. Although, it's $100 more than the stock replacement 😬

Thanks for the advice on the split bushings... I may just bite the bullet and buck up for an adjustable track bar.

If you want to lift it at some point might as well… I wouldn’t recommend rough country. Their joints are pretty bad. Try something with Johnny joints.

Ok, any recommendations? "Johnny points" is a new term to me, I've never heard of it.

How loud is that exhaust. I bought that when doing a tummy tuck because the stock system was hitting the front control arm mount. I ended up modifying it to work and never installed the flowmaster.

It's freaking loud but a good loud, almost sounds like a 5.0 mustang. I wish I could put a sound clip up. Anyway, my 18 year old son loves it, he's the daily driver

If you wanted to replace the bushings, the oem clevites would be a better choice than the polys.
