California Trail maintenance on 3N93, Holcomb Creek.

On Sunday 5-27-18, the group I'm with, myjeeprocks.com will be doing some work on our Adopt-A-Trail at the West end gate keeper. We will be loading the smaller rocks (the stackers) into some trailers and relocating them to a narrow shelf area to be stock piled for a future project. I'll be in my Blue TJ dragging my Toyota bed trailer. If you're running the trail, stop and say hey. We don't expect any delays other than normal gate keeper spotting. And enjoy your weekend where ever you wheel.

In the San Bernardino National Forrest, So. Cal. Near Big Bear Lake, 2 hrs. east of LA.

My grandparents had a cabin near Fawnskin years ago. I spent lots of good times up there as a kid exploring Holcomb Valley on an old Honda 90 dirt bike. Back then we could duck hunt on the lake

Yeah back in the early 60's my Dad and I spent a lot of time up in that area in the summer time. In the winter, it would be in the high desert or the Anza-Borrego Salton Sea area.
