After I installed Tom Woods rear driveshaft and eliminated the transfer case drop spacers, I noticed it pops out of low range sometimes. I know the best solution is a cable set-up but I'd like to know if there is linkage adjustment I could make to improve this. Have 4" lift by PO.

Linkage adjustment process?

Thanks.

The best long term adjustment is to carefully remove the OEM t-case linkage and catapult it into the heart of the sun at a high rate of speed.

Then buy the Savvy cable shifter and install at your leisure. This forum will argue about all sorts of stupid stuff but you will find zero dissenting opinions on this topic.

This has my early vote for post of the year.

Most will tell you to get the cable, but in the meantime type "transfer linkage adjustment" in the search box, and hit the G that is circled in red. Lots of info out there.

Big shout out to Jerry Bransford, thanks for your transfer case adjustment advice, worked like a charm. It goes in firmly now and I feel confident this will eliminate the periodic pop-outs I was hoping to fix. Easy process, took no time. Thanks professor Jerry, more super guidance from you.
