I know that many Jeep TJ owners have seen my automotive YouTube Ozzstar videos on air conditioning repair, rear axle differential, shocks and transmission shifting issues. I would like to simplify the hard shifting problem that the '05-'06 model can experience. Trouble codes such as P1603 P1604 P0700. I continue to get inquires and questions on this subject and would like to break it down and simplify the diagnostic and repair procedure for you.
The three detailed videos devoted to the TJ shifting issue:
Video 1) The shifting problem/issue
Video 2) How to test and confirm the TCM (transmission control module) is defective video:
Video 3) The repair using WranglerFix PCM replacement video:
Hopefully your Jeep is shifting and running great but if not I hope the videos have helped you out. Let me know your thoughts on this issue and what you did or think is the best way to solve that annoying problem. Thanks! -Glen (Ozzstar)
