I found the source of the really annoying rattle while offroading, my transmission skid plate (04 automatic) has two loose bolts (to the frame) and two missing nuts where it connects to the larger skid plate.
I can tighten the bolts to the frame but as far as the transmission skid to main skid attachment It looks to me like the transmission skid plate pushes up and over the bolt that comes down and through the main skid and needs a nut to fasten it down. Since the bolt is there already does anyone know what size nut I need to buy for it?
