Trouble locating NP 231 transfer case shift lever

Recently my transfer case blew up. In with that came a headache of buying and rebuilding and now it’s done. My one problem if the shift lever. The shift lever on my 04 tj has the part number 198 UD3 and I can’t find it anywhere. All I can find is a 233 or a 403 but not my 198. Any help please

If that part is replaced when you put in a cable shifter, which I think it is, allot of people are going to have that part sitting around. I'd place a "wanted" ad in the classifieds here. Maybe @Chris can help you change the title and all that crap?

ok, I haven't been able to find anything like it online given that the 231 was used in many different Chrysler vehicles I thought it may actually not be a jeep part but something that a previous owner thought might work
