Truetrac With Antirock

Don’t know what effect the antirock will have with the truetrac but I like my antirock. I run it in the middle setting and haven’t had to disconnect it yet. Even on the road it’s fine, off road does what I want

yeah I know, that was the reason I went with the antirock. I know a few people that have them and they switch the settings for on road and off road, I leave mine in the middle and no issues at all. Like it so much better than have the disconnects on the OEM sway bar. Just hop in and drive

As much as I like Detroit Lockers, having run one in the rear of my previous TJ, they don't hold together well in a TJ's front Dana 44 or Dana 30.

Do you mean the Dana 30/44 versions are prone to breakage?

To the OP's question: I recently installed an Antirock and have Truetracs front and rear. My thinking was exactly the same, that the Antirock would complement the TT and help it stay locked up more. I've only wheeled once with this setup so far, but I don't think one should get the Antirock thinking it will help the TT to perform better. From what I could tell it did not. Situations which made the TT become an open diff before still do so now that I have the Antirock.

The Antirock absolutely does its job, though. Body roll is reduced and the Jeep feels more stable overall and you no longer have to bother with disconnecting. It's worth it for those reasons alone. And I was able to move my bumper back a few inches once the factory swaybar was removed, so my approach angle is better. Bonus!

Not in rear Dana 44 axles, just when it's installed in the front Dana 44/Dana 30 axle which is not as stiff.
