Turn signal dash indicators stay on after LED and flasher install

So I just installed new 3 wire LED turn signal/marker lights on my ‘05 LJ along with the EP26 flasher that was recommended by many on this forum. Everything seems to be working fine except the signal indicator lights come on when I turn on the headlights. Not a huge deal and I guess I could learn to live with it but still annoying. All my other lights are stock and I’m not running side markers at the moment. Ideas anyone?
 
I’m in the process of wiring mine right now. I believe you need to add a couple of diodes. I’ll let you know when my diodes arrive. I’m following what this guy did. Also, I think a 2005 needs a 5 terminal relay so the hazard lights will work also. That would be an EP27.

The original flasher is a 5 terminal but many people seemed to be having issues with those so I got the 4 plug. Hazards work fine. The other strange thing is now my blinkers work without the key in... Good luck with your install! Let me know how it turns out.
 
The LM470 is the correct flasher for the late model TJs. EP26/EP27 will work with minor issues.

Most auto parts stores seem to carry the LM470

Just got done installing new led signals. All these people are correct on what to do but I’ll give more explanation. Once you throw in all of the new led turn signals and they are hyper flashing then you will need a new signal flasher *mine is an 01 Tj so I used an LM470* and that will stop the hyper flashing. But depending on how many led signals you have you might have to do a bigger signal flasher *I don’t know if that’s true or not just heard that a couple times*. Then if your
Indicators are staying on then you will need to add either diodes or load resistors led turn signal and both do work i just went with the load resistor. Everything I said in this I was able to buy at auto zone but I’ll link everything I used.
