Hello! I've been the owner of a 4.0 2006 Wrangler TJ for a few days and it's a dream come true!

However, I have a problem with the left front turn signal. The symptoms are as follows:

1. The left front turn signal doesn't work, and when it's turned on, the left turn signals flash very quickly. The right turn signals work correctly.
2. It's not an issue with the bulb because when I turn on the hazard lights or parking lights, this front left turn signal works perfectly.

I checked the fuse and it looks okay. What could be the problem? Is it a relay, or maybe something's not making contact?
I'll take any tips and advice because I feel this might be a simple repair, but I lack the experience to locate the issue myself.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Check the left rear bulb… typically when they flash fast like that it means that one of the bulbs are bad on that side, front or back…

Read #2 and #5. I have a similar issue as of 2 days ago. My dash light arrow stays solid though. Waiting for daylight to fix it.

Thank you! Will dig deeper into this. I'm a beginner when it comes to fixing the car by myself, but I want to learn and I think the TJ will be perfect for that :)

Good luck with your repair, and please do let me know if and how you fixed it!

Mine was an issue with the front fender light causing the side marker not to work. I removed it (front light on fender) and cleaned everything and it's working again.

Thanks, I'll try it! Mine doesn't look too dirty, but it's not completely clean or rust-free also. I guess I'll try to inspect and clean it first, and if that doesn't work I'll move onto checking the voltage in the cables.

Hey, wanted to give an update for future reference:

indeed the bulb must've been not placed properly in the socket. I took it out, cleaned the bulb socket, put it in and pushed hard to make sure it's placed properly, and voila - now all the lights work properly! Will see if this will work in the long term, or maybe the bulb will disconnect again on a bumpy road. In that case I suppose I'll need to change the bulb socket, but at least I have the issue pinpointed!

Thanks again for the help!
