I am looking at a 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ with the bank's turbo kit installed on it. The jeep has 69,000 miles with an automatic transmission they was recently service. Body and paint looks good on it. Has a four and a half inch suspension lift with 33 inch new tires. Interior looks to be in average to good shape. They are asking $10,000 for it. What should I look out for with it and is that a good value?

The lower miles sounds very nice, but keep in mind that maintenance practices also matter. For example, my current rig had much better compression numbers at 185k miles than a rig I purchased with 90k miles.

Does the Banks turbo setup have the intercooler?

Not sure where the vehicle is located, but it’s good practice to check for rust by looking inside the frame holes.

There are different things to look at when buying a modified vehicle especially when a turbo kit has been installed on it.
You need to ask yourself; WHY would someone sell a vehicle setup like that with low mileage, how was it maintained and treated during that time.
A THOROUGH vehicle inspection will be required, maintenance records and parts installation receipts would be a plus.
