Hey everyone,

I've been tasked with overseeing the cleaning of our warehouse, and I wanted to reach out to this community for some advice and tips. Our warehouse has seen its fair share of dust and clutter over the years, and it's about time we give it a thorough cleaning. I'm looking for insights on the most efficient cleaning methods, equipment recommendations, and any best practices that you've found to be effective.

We're particularly interested in eco-friendly cleaning solutions if possible, as we want to minimize our environmental impact. Also, any suggestions on organizing the space to maintain cleanliness in the long run would be greatly appreciated. Warehouse Cleaning Question

What kind of DIY epoxy floor coating will you be using on the warehouse floor?

I have a question because when I worked in an aluminum fab shop we "cleaned" the warehouse once a year by tossing any parts over a year old (which always ended up closer to two years old because 52 weeks just wasn't old enough) and recorded the weight and piece count per the label of everything else. When finished was it clean? NO but the whole place was much easier to deal with.

I know you may be actually cleaning but what has been stored in the warehouse and what will be stored in the warehouse?

In the scenario you described from your aluminum fab shop, the goal was not necessarily to achieve a spotless cleanliness but to streamline and declutter the warehouse for better organization and efficiency. The practice of disposing of older parts and documenting the remaining inventory can indeed make the warehouse more manageable. To address your question about what will be stored in the warehouse, it depends on the specific needs and operations of the warehouse. Warehouses can store a wide range of items, including raw materials, finished products, machinery, equipment, or even just empty storage containers. The choice of what to store in a warehouse is determined by the business's requirements and inventory management strategies.

I’m trying to figure this person out and have been for a while. He or she is never posting spam links but all of the responses seem AI generated. I’m really confused about that this persons angle is.

Yeah, agree. They don’t seem spammy, but there is definitely something different about the writing style.

I agree and I’ve noticed it many times before. IP is from Switzerland so part of me wonders if it’s someone who is typing in their native language and then maybe feeding it to AI to translate into English.

@Chris this last response feel like AI. What’s the deal with smtwmwygrl?

Yes, that very much reads like AI generated. Someone may be trying to use the forum for LLM training is my guess.

Edit: wow, I'm second guessing myself. But not a single TJ related thread or post and I kinda find that strange. Maybe the same can be said about many posters in the politics section.

@Chris must feel like he's in twilight zone ..
