Melting pretty fast.
True.
How's your rig coming? Where are you at in the build? Waiting on any parts?
It's mobile. Still running the 231j. Springs are in, rear disc conversion is done. Chromoly axles in the rear 44. Rear Rockjock sway is in. 36 swampers mounted.
I had a stirrup I would have given you...☹️
Your rig looks awesome!
I absolutely love it.
Thanks. Giving my back a little rest before I pull the tcase and tranny. Got a leaking front seal. Then I'll install the atlas when I put it back together.
It's a lot of work. We did my sons TJR the week after Christmas. It took all of 7 days 10 hours/day. Of course, we were dealing with rusted broken bolts and fixing all that, including some welding. It turned out pretty awesome!
4" Rockjock coils
Rancho 55255/256
JKS adjustable trackbars front and rear
Currie Rear TB Angled Relocation Bracket
33" Irok's
MC rear CA's
Adams rear Driveshaft
ZJ TR Conversion
Rear Extended Sway Bar Links
Front Sway Bar Disconnects
This setup should be really capable with the lockers and 4:1. We still need to do exhaust work.

What gears in the diffs?
So I went to that “Snow” jam today. Zero snow and I literally could have taken my wife’s Subaru, but still a lot of fun. And it was good to be out in then woods in the jeep with my son.
The games were fun, my kid liked the shooting game the most. We did not do so good with the card playing game but did real good at the raffle. Won some dewalt tools and a couple Hella 6” light bars.
Also there was some pretty cool rigs and stopped at my kids favorite burger place for dinner afterwards.

Totally love the Willys wagon.
Also our local orv park has up to 12" of snow to play in so come on over.

I just picked up factory backing plates, rotors and calipers for a disc conversion. Do I need to change out the rear bearings/seals. I recently replaced both bearings and seals so I would rather not do that again if I don't have to. The guy also gave me his axles but they sat outside in the rain so the bearings are kinda rusty.
You want to use the bearing retainer for disc brakes. If the axles the guy gave you came with the factory plates, calipers, and rotors then they should have the proper retainers behind the bearings.
So I need to use the retainer plate with the lip? Why?
