So, I completed my rework and upgrade this past Saturday. (Very long Saturday LOL).
Following Tj Forum posts, I replaced all four ball joints on my 1999 TJ using the recommended Dana/Spicer 706944X ball joints, rented a ball joint press from Advanced Auto and bought the adapter along with all my parts on Amazon. While I was at it I also did the ZJ Tie rod conversion (also posted on the Forum). With a little help From Chris ( Administrator) and 05 Blue Unlimited, got through it and I am here to tell you it was well worth it. Riding and steering is SOOOOO much better. Also did the Moog Track bar while I was under there. Figured it couldn't hurt. Note, for anyone looking to do the ZJ Tie Rod conversion. You will need one extra sleeve for the complete project. From the NEW drag link Male threaded end to the NEW tie rod male threaded end. (Part# MOOG ES 2079S Adjusting Sleeve). This is listed as only one but, two are required.
