I tried to find the paint code for my tj. I didn't find it; the plaquard looks so different to what you guys in the US have:

Has anyone ever seen that and knows what these numbers mean?

Not nearly as experienced with TJ's as some (possibly most) here but I've never seen that label before, though it looks like it's stuck directly on top of the original factory sticker in your photo.

Based on your photo it looks like you might have an Inca Gold TJ, not sure which code, though...

I found three paint codes for inca gold on the internet:
Inca Gold Pearl Coat

PY6
PYJ
YYJ

Y6 can be ruled out then, mine is a 2003

The challenging bit for me is that they call both Pearl but one is also labeled as a Pearl Metallic. As someone who used to paint cars, usually it's either a metallic OR a pearl, the difference in composition being in the actual flake material added to the paint mix...though the visual difference can be remarkable between the two. They might have used the terms without thinking much about it when they named the colors, hard to say.

I've still got my original sticker in place. When I get home I'll snap a photo.

Inca Gold Pearl, never seen metallic added to the name before.

It is in there though

There should be a metal plate under the left seat. Second line, second set of letters should be the primary paint code.

Thanks mate, good hint. it was actually a sticker beneath the seat hidden under the carpet. omg, I think that's one of the jeep easter eggs...
PYJ it is.

I'm stillcurious what the cryptic numbers mean.

Most All TJ paint codes - Chili Pepper Red is missing - man its pretty.

I've been thinking about this label a bit more and, while I haven't seen that specific type before, the circles with E4 and E11 do look familiar. Those look an awful lot like ECE e-Mark certification marks.

EDIT: Just found this on the interwebs...check out the 2nd mark down (Model B) as well as the numbers to the right, ignore the mention of electromagnetic crap...

I think this helps explain the contents of your label, though does nothing to address the specifics on the regulation numbers. Apparently E4 indicates the Netherlands and E11 is the UK.

That had me thinking last night to, although I bought my Jeep in Germany it was military sales, no different from if I bought it in the US of A
