What did you do to your TJ today?

vacuumed, yes vacuumed the interior. Need to get the tailgate sorted out. Thinking about a CJ7 tailgate conversion.

Installed a set of Oracle headlights after a failed attempt to install a set of mis-built set of Morimoto gen 1's
Apparently I ordered the ones with Halos, one should never shop the internet after a few Saturday night cocktails................
Also swapped the broken instrument bezel and knee bolster with the ones I got off fleabay
added LED cluster bulbs (what LED bulbs are we using for the AC/heater controls?)
Swapped the powerport for a dual USB (switched) outlet and ran a hardwire for the GPS

Link to that switched outlet? Thats exactly what I need

Here's what I bought

I was going to get these flange mounts but they still require cutting the tub

I got the same teqniq lights, took a minute to work up the courage to drill the holes, but couldn't be happier. Save the blanks after drilling, you can weld them back in if you change your mind later.

Disregard, you would figure that the law of averages would've worked in my favor..................but no
After swapping the T4 bulbs I have a minimum of 15 times ( moving holes, trying different bulbs) you would figure I would've "accidentally" gotten one of the climate control bulbs in the right way............................but no.
just went out and installed all 3 bulbs with no joy, carefully popped them out and carefully rotated them 180 degrees and VIOLA I have light
Stoopid electricity

I'd love to have 3 of these, when the wife and kid are with me, there's a lot of devices needing charged
I have a dual outlet (unswitched) USB port that I was going to replace the cigarette lighter with but my Viair 450P uses a cigarette lighter plug
I guess I could get an alligator clip cigarette lighter plug and just run the Viair right off the battery

Nice! I like the way they look. I had a set on my 00 tj. I just can't bring myself to hack the tub on my LJ.
It was definitely a tough thing to do, once I figured out I could go back to stock if I changed my mind I was all in. Of course, I love the look. When I go to flat fenders I plan on the CJ style front turns. I can always cover those holes with an angry birds grille 😝

Just installed some LED bulbs in the tail lamps for the brake/turn and reverse. These are the ones I used:

The brake lights and reverse lights work great, but now I've got hyper flashing front and rear whenever I use a turn signal. The weird thing is that the hyperflashing only happens when I use a turn signal on either side — when I use the hazards, both lamps blink normally.

I did a brief search here in the forum. Now I realize I've got to get a relay. Anyone have experience with a good relay for a 2000?

Can someone share the inside rear cargo dimension. Distance from back of drivers seat to closed rear tale gate, tub floor height to ceiling height, inside wheel well to other wheel well. Thank you.
