Went from warm weather mode to cold weather mode.

Naw. Actually you don't turn them on and off every time ... they are motion and dark activated.... Once you turn them on that is.
For instance you'll be going down the road and set your drink down and it will light up... Or you can be pawing around down there and it will light up.
Or one of them lights up sometime and one doesn't... They just seem to have a mind of their own.
I think of them as little friends...

Man I agree... And he doesn't do it any damage when he works on it... He's the kind of guy I would throw my keys to.
Ordered a set of StableSeat tip/slide bushings

Installed Weathertech mats, really nice.
I wasn't really a fan of the gray ones we put in my wife's Lincoln because they seem to be hard to clean... But I know from my experience in the construction and flooring business anything light gray is a horrible color to keep clean.
I bought some for my f250 that I think WeatherTech manufactured and I was really happy so I got some for my white 2003., Black or close to it. I'm really pleased.
Then I cleaned up the ones that look like the old BF Goodrich all terrain tread and threw them in my 06...they looked better than I remembered. The good thing about those type is is they hold a lot of dirt and the bad thing is they hold a lot of dirt.
Then I had to test drive it if course...threw in my old Mitch Malloy CD and went and got a bottled coke.
Long day. I guess we need to be grateful for every one we have.

The cleaning and repainting continues with the M8000 winch....
Thanks! It was nice to get some moisture and take the Jeep out. It’s been so dry and dusty here that even with the top on, you’re still eating dust the whole time.
We even found a forest road that hadn’t been driven yet. Look at that fresh powder!

So about that....we had a fresh snow (10” or so) and there was some mud involved. At one point I stopped to rub snow on the windows and headlights to clean them off. All was well until I got the the fog lights, and not even thinking about how hot the lenses get I rubbed snow one one of them and cracked the lens about four different directions
I’m still pretty salty about it.

I've got some that I'm pretty sure are a factory KC light that were on the 06... If they'll do you any good PM me... One has a little tweak on the housing where I stressed it at the bracket trying to adjust it the other one is fine... The lenses appear ribbed and vertical but they are smooth to the touch.
I just might take you up on that. Whenever you get a chance send me a couple of pics!
My cold weather mode is called the Jeep heater. Even in below zero temps, I have to keep it on low-medium or start sweating.

It's been over 70 for the past three or four days here in Philly, so I've been top down / doors off since Friday. Finally took the time to make a proper place for the doors rather than simply throwing them on the grass every time I take them off...too bad they have to go back on today, probably for the last time until spring/summer '21 (please ignore the chaos that is my garage...)
