Scratches like these all over the Jeep. Seriously, it was horrendous looking even by off-road standards.

While my jeep is no pavement princess, I very much like it looking like one when I’m just cruising around on it’s off days. So I broke out the buffer with some Maguires ultimate compound and got a good day of work done.

And a quick trip to the grocery store to flaunt its freshly buffed paint in the fading light.

Jerome Wagon Road 503A. It was gnarly but a lot of fun. Beautiful scenery too. I veered off to another mining road after the group split and that was a lot of fun too.Which trail was that?
Ah, haven't heard of that one. Looked like some of the pics I've seen of Smiley RockJerome Wagon Road 503A. It was gnarly but a lot of fun. Beautiful scenery too. I veered off to another mining road after the group split and that was a lot of fun too.

It was in that general area. I’m not sure my Jeep is built enough to handle smiley though I’d like to try.Ah, haven't heard of that one. Looked like some of the pics I've seen of Smiley Rock
It definitely had some eerie spots! Slag and mineral runoff from the mines have killed the vegetation in certain areasOn that first pic going down the trail did you bump into Hansel and Gretel ? haha
Love the shiny green body.
That winch could have come in handy aye !!Yesterday took my Rebel out with my FiL and his CJ6 since I didn’t have my Jeep - I should pay attention to where I’m going!

How do you like it? I've had this thing in my cart for two years now, can't seem to pull the trigger on it and it only keeps getting more expensive.
After a day of driving to and from work, I'm liking it so far. It's still gonna take some getting used to, but I like the solid (stiffer) feeling when shifting now. The occasional 1st to 2nd gear grind seems to be gone. I paid $250 for it, so I'm happy with the purchase. I was not ready to pay MSRP.
If I had anything else to compare it to, I would, but I pretty much learned to drive stick on on my LJ. With the exception of an '88 Toyota pickup, I haven't driven any other manuals.
Off of ebay in basically new condition. It was supposedly used for display purposes.I used to own an '88 Toyota 4x4 in High School! around '96. Loved that truck. I learned to drive stick on a '79 Toyota 2wd truck, and my first vehicle was an '82 4x4.
Where on earth did you find that shifter for $250? Buy it used?
