What did you do to your TJ today?

Finished work a little early today and my new head unit was waiting for me at the front door. Already had the harness and bezel so decided to whack it in. Ideally I want a double din touch screen but this was a good deal. It will do for now. Just wanted something to play Spotify and Bluetooth phone.
Also chucked on a pair of cheap grab handles. Wife said it’s the best mod I’ve done so far? Haha

Need to start a build thread I think!

He has a powerwheels jeep, his dad modded it out with lights and some other stuff and replaced the battery with drill batteries. It's pretty cool, wish I had that when I was his age

I think paint matching the MorRyde is way to go. Blends right in looks stock if didn’t know any better.

Put 4 new shoes on Wildpeak AT3W XL,s ( just in case it snows in OZ lol) also had an alignment, look a bit more aggressive than the wrangler A/T,s I had on and ride nicer with no road noise, almost $900au down the drain if I do a lift soon but my tires were worn worse than they looked the tire fitter showed me on a tread gauge! 2 illegal and 1 barely legal
Road was too busy to take a full pic, nothing special anyway but they are snow rated lol!

We deal with emergency vehicles, so the scrap is usually weird and sometimes useful.

Yes. Sanded them down, 2K epoxy primer, Duplicolor Spray Paint, 2K Clear Coat.

Agreed. I called them to see if they would sell me the kit bare steel and they said no. Had to sand down the powder coat and then 2K epoxy prime them before painting.

Full kit JP54-022. Looks like has gone up like $50 since I ordered it. Discountbandit had it cheaper but when I tried was unable to fulfill order. They warn you up front that may happen.

Found out you can fit a set of five 31’s in a TJ with the back seat still in it.

I sold my ravines with tires.

Big day, I suppose.

1) Got my shock extenders installed
2) Got the JKS angled trackbar bracket installed
3) Got the advance adapters TC-mounted bracket installed
4) Painted the frame rails and skid where they mate

I got some pics, but I'm on a computer and phone is MIA.
