What did you do to your TJ today?

Fitted a rear Fire extinguisher and 6 Hardtop quick remove fasteners, pain in the ass getting 2 spanners on bolts and nuts especially up near the front seats where you need to be a contortionist to remove them! If you look close you can see I managed to get my rear demister/wiper plug off and its never going back on! soon to be a rear 12v outlet :)

I've been meaning to convert my rear hardtop plug into something useful since selling the hardtop.

I'm still learning my way around electrical work, how are you going to convert it?

I need to find out what fuse and amp runs to the wiper and demister power if its at least 10amp I will fit a cigarette lighter plug in the rear for my fridge.

Two birds with one stone. Holding the fire extinguisher & stopping the seat belt from flapping in the wind.

We need to see the other side.
Here ya go evened it up for ya real quick! :)

Over the weekend I removed the skid plate, cleaned off the rust from the plate and frame, painted both and reinstalled.

I posted a thread about it because I was surprised by the amount of rust I found on my "rust free" frame. It's worth taking a look at yours if you have never pulled your skid plate.

Here is the thread: https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/check-your-skid-plate-it-is-probably-rusty.48765/

I was in the same boat. I took my skid off to install my SSYE. Looked very similar and that was disappointing to find. How clean were you able to get the frame rails?

Unfortunately I didn't get a good pic of the frame before I repainted it. I got it pretty clean and mainly down to bare metal. There was a light rust color in some spots but nothing heavy like the area around the bolt holes on the plate. That just would not come clean of rust. I painted it all with Rust Oleum Rust Reformer prior to the top coat of frame paint.

Here is the frame after painting:
