What did you do to your TJ today?

My birthday day today so I conned the boss into giving me the day off (ssshh) and went out around my fair city in search of some new shoes for Bruiser...more of recon mission just seeing what's out there and how much..had a look at some KO2's and almost fell over....560 bucks that's almost 400 USD each !!! stopped in at acouple wrecker yards as well to see if they had any soft top upper door skins but alas nothing.
Still a great day though...topless and doorless and ate a fantastic steak sandwich on the waterfront.Today was a good day.....oh and got a bit crispy as I forgot the sunblock lol

Thanks everyone....might just kick back and watch a classic car movie ...Two lane blacktop, Bullit or maybe even the Blues Brothers lol

Got Stinger back. It has air! Air conditioning that is. Mac's Radiator in Bend did the plumbing. Cascade Auto Electric wired it. Again Mac's evacuated the unit and charged it. 39 degrees at the vent. Oh ya baby.:D

I may have to add a pusher fan. When I brought it home I was told to manually turn on the fan when using the AC. I did that and it still made the engine run warmer than I would like.:(
It looked like an easy job to wire it however I had three sets of instructions-- two from Novak, and the factory service manual. None agreed with the other hence letting the pros do it.

However for now I am focused on fabricating skid plates for the engine and tranny. Not a lot of hard points on which to mount these!:(
Kit? Cost would be of interest particularly for the install. Thanks in advance.

Gearbox filled with MT-90 and ATF for transfer case. Any idea how long a break in is for a new transmission?

I havent driven it but watch this space! 1600 USD for brand new box and input shaft for nv231 plus fab work for bending the selector and new fluids. They offer a new transfer case linkage cable system if you have issues with higher lift but I didn’t need it for my 3.5” rough country setup.
