I broke forum groupthink rules and got a Quadratec replacement center console sub. This thing as actually pretty beefy, heavy, and bassy.

I realized I didn’t want the clutter of wires running around for custom sound, it is a Jeep after all. My Honda has the custom sound setup. So I’m happy with this, and will be content when I get some upgraded speakers.

Just a quick lashup of the compressor's intake filter and tubing - filter is the grey disk thingie near the top of the picture:

I rigged up a bypass switch to fuse 4 with an add-a-circuit and a rocker switch. Mounted right next to the passenger side door where the one from Quadratec goes. However, I only spent about $7 instead of $40!

Mocked up a set of JT wheels I picked up. It wasn't a straight forward swap, requiring an adapter and boring out of the center for the small hub kit, but wasn't difficult either.

I hear a lot of people love those STT coopers, I cant wait to see your take on them they are deff on the short list for replacements for me.

I like mine! Use them on my DD. They do well in the snow too---not that you get too much of that in TN

Finally scraped up the time to get of that dumb 3 inch BL and go down to a 1 inch. It was a job because the 2 of the drivers side body bolt holes moved around a tad so i had to use some ratchet straps to move it around.

Sprayed the pollen off (35 degrees now) and took it for a nice drive. Hoping my new top shows up by Thursday when temps will be close to 70.

With help from @TurboTJ and @Ron Hockett I finally got my Banks Sidewinder Turbo installed.

And my Snow Performance water/meth injection system is in.

This LJ is scary now. Damn scary. It SCREAMS now. I scream too. And so do the people in the car next to me. And the sirens behind me. It makes all your suspension shortcomings VERY apparent on the highway. And my fuel economy WILL suffer as a result as I can't keep my foot off the skinny pedal now. Aaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!

I did this over the weekend and it has made a huge difference. Feels good.
