Needed to adjust the transfer case shifter linkage, thought this would be easier than dropping the skid plate... Yes, no..?

I've finally started on my HEMI swap after the pandemic, being laid off for 12 weeks, my building being put on hold from material shortages then my wife getting covid and being hospitalized for 3 months last fall things have finally got back to somewhat normal. Whatever that is...
I'll try to post updates as I get things done. I will say in advance that I'm not a very good documenter.

Today, since it’s been ~20°F out, it’s been all about reconnecting clipped and damaged seatbelt and e-brake wires.

Well I have this piece of the rear disc ordered and rotors , cal. and shoes on backorder. Just ordered new backing plates after looking at what the used ones look like , just didn't think I could get used ones to look good enough to go on my nice TJ. It's just 250.00 .

I highly like UCF products also.

Went ahead and installed the UCF engine/oil pan skid last night. Wasn’t too bad. The usual pains of getting bolts in tight spaces.

Crappy picture. Didn’t feel like laying under the Jeep to get a better one.

I've been driving it to work for the last couple of days and today I hit this milestone!

Also drove it to the store and got to see my truck that I haven't seen all week. Kind of weird to have both vehicles at the store and only drove one. LOL My parents needed to borrow a vehicle and I was going to give them the Mini, but it sprung a leak so I had to give them the truck. Figured they wouldn't be able to get in and out of the Jeep to well. LOL

Sealed up the cowl drain and the fresh air duct under there (whatever thats called..lol). replaced the seal between the cowl and the hood... let it rain now!!...so I can see if that fixed my passenger side leak..lol...

I retired the worthless stock driving lights and replaced them with some LED plug and play lights. Amazing difference.

Those look great.
I found LED lamps that matched the color temp of my headlights that fit into the stock housings (after some serious modifications to the lamps themselves), then found a pair of NOS guards to keep a little touch of the past alive.

My wife's favorite driver is Joey Logano in the #22. He won the NASCAR Championship in 2022.

All the more importantly.... we welcomed twin boys this year in 2022!

What a great area! It's become our fall break destination. Looks like you went to the cliff dwellings.
Have you done the Broken Arrow trail? It's a fun one and good to do at the end of the day for the sunset views at the top.
